As of yesterday I am on my first trip of 2022! I flew out yesterday morning to Carmel to spend the week with my mom, and I’m so excited to be here. My mom and stepdad bought a new home out there, and have been spending a lot of time the last few weeks dealing with painters, movers, deliveries, etc. Because of a major debacle with the moving company they are using in Austin, my mom had to fly back out a second time since the delivery was seriously delayed. I figured I’d fly out to keep her company on this second trip! Plus, it’s been awhile since I’ve gone anywhere but Austin or the ranch. I’m ready for a change of scenery!
The weather is always pretty chilly here, so I’m not getting a break from cold weather… but at least the views and vibes are on point! I tried to pack pieces that are temperature appropriate but don’t feel too wintery, so things like this fur pocket scarf, this look from last week and similar styles.
